Hi Mark, just wanted to say thank you for writing about the experience of raising kids and the struggle with being able to pass on your Filipino-ness to them. This line really resonated with me "Growing up, it was my mother’s food that was perhaps the most tangible manifestation of Filipino-ness in my life".
